Erik B. Halverson
Senior Vice President, Business Development

Erik Halverson has more than 20 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing complex information technology solutions for large Federal military and civilian clients. These solutions included requirements analysis; high-availability network backbones; security devices, practices, and procedures; large distributed network operating systems and messaging systems design and implementation (NT domain, AD/DNS, Exchange); distributed collaboration systems (document management, workflow, real-time application sharing); and classified systems design, implementation, and certification.

Prior to joining Federal Concepts, Erik most recently served as the Chief Information Officer for Stanley Associates. In this position he redesigned and implemented an entirely new corporate IT organization and network infrastructure in order to support a company rapidly increasing in size through both organic growth and annual acquisitions.

Erik originally was in the position of Senior Program Manager, responsible for architecting, developing, and managing network and IT operations solutions for the company’s customers such as the Joint Strike Fighter Program and the Department of Health and Human Services. In addition, he provided architecture and development support for the Department of State.

Prior to joining Stanley Associates, Erik was a Senior Project Manager for Cambridge Research Associates, where he supported Department of Defense clients in the areas of simulation-based acquisition, requirements systems analysis, and network and application integration design and implementation.

Erik began his career with DCS Corporation, where he performed electro-optic systems analysis for the Department of the Army, avionics (navigation/weapons control) system integration for the Department of the Navy, and acted as DCS’s first corporate information systems manager.

He currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
