April 17, 2008 - FedConcepts successfully deployed the Complaint Referral Express (CRE) system for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). During the course of this effort, FedConcepts personnel performed the design, development, testing, and implementation of the CRE system for the OCC. This application replaces the manual process previously used for complaint referrals, and will electronically transfer misdirected consumer complaints sent in error between the OCC and the appropriate federal and/or state banking regulatory agency. Additionally, this new system integrated several updates to the existing Customer Assistance Group Remedy system including many new workflow, filter, and form changes.
In a close working relationship with Government personnel from the OCC’s business unit and technical support organization, FedConcepts applied a robust management approach that adhered to the requirements of the OCC’s SDLC technical framework. The project was completed on time and under budget including enhancements not initially scoped.
The Complaint Referral Express (CRE) is a secure, limited-access Web site for Federal and State Banking Regulatory Agencies and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to send interagency referral related information. Through data-base, workflow based and interfaces, and tools to seamlessly integrate into our Customer Assistance Group (CAG), the CRE acts as a vehicle for delivering misdirected complaints through a timely, confidential environment that ensures both information security and data integrity.
Founded in 1863, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) charters, regulates, and supervises the national banking system comprised of almost 2,200 commercial banks holding more than 55 percent of the nation's banking assets. The OCC ensures a safe, sound, and competitive banking system that supports the citizens, communities, and economy of the United States. For more information about the OCC, log on to their Web site at www.occ.treas.gov.
